Dia is essentially a diagramming software and not a text editor. It can create almost any type of shape and you can export diagrams in various formats like JPEG, PNG, SVG and others. After that you can use the diagrams in your webpages.

If your need is to create a network diagram of PCs, servers, switches, printers etc. then there’s a library of network shapes that ships with Fedora called vrt-network-equipment, also available here: http://www.vrt.com.au/downloads/vrt-network-equipment if you just want the LibreOffice/OpenOffice extension. The graphics are all isometric in the same general style as those found in Visio.

Are there any software can read Microsoft Visio files as a source and convert it to their format for editing?
